Dressed To Kilt

Looking at the Pre-Fall collections for 2013, I just fell head over heels in love with Chanel's collection. I adored how creative this seasons garments are with the use of tweeds, knits, cardigans and man-styled essence of Chanel, showing the true heritage of the main source of inspiration for this season Scotland and the time that Coco spent there with her lover the Duke of Westminster.

The garments for Pre-Fall collection 2013 screamed Chanel from head to toe with iconic classic silhouettes and tweed suits but this season giving the label a new lease of life by adding a weave Scottish heritage.

Burning Giles

I thought I would share some photographs today, from the time when I interned at the fashion house of "Giles Deacon". It's coming closely up to a year now, I really enjoyed my time at the "Giles house"it was so much fun and I learnt so much, with great useful techniques on hand embellishing and so much more.

It seems that very fitting to be showing you these past collection images from behinds the scenes of the A/W 12/13 collection by "Giles Deacon"because it is the season it was designed for! His collection was inspired by the 19th century with, faded printed renaissance art, crystal detail, Burnt edges, Ostrich feathers and head pieces by Stephen Jones. It really was so much fun working on this collection and see  it come to life on the models in the fashion show!
