Take A Walk With Tim Walker

Recently I took a walk down to summer set house in London, where I visited the exhibition "Story Teller" showcasing Tim Walkers work. For those who are not familiar with his work Tim Walker is on of the most influential and creative fashion photographs in the business at the moment. His recent work has been shown in the worlds leading magazines such as British, French, American and Italian Vogue, Love, Vanity Fair, W and The New Yorker to name a few.

Each of Tim Walkers photographs tell a story, they capture a moment of pure childhood imagination. His images are most famous and recognised for his exciting props and installations. Taking a walk round the exhibition each wall told a story and painted a different picture, seeing these really images and props in life size form really felt like I had fell down and bumped my hand and woke up in the wonderful over fantasied fashion world of Tim Walker. He is truly one of the most exciting exhibitions that I've seen in a long time, here are some image (if you get the chance take walk down their, well worth it)

This last image is really special to me because it is "Kristen Mcmenamy and white spider" but the part that has some meaning to me is the dress by Giles "Giles Deacon" it was from the A/W12 collection were I personal helped worked on this garment when I interned with the designer. Not only did i see it in the making process but I got see how Giles envisioned it on the runway and now to see it through the eyes of this amazing photograph and how he has brought it to life, well thats just special.

Three Wise Monkeys

Hey my name is Anthony Joshua Yassin, I am 22 years old, wow seeing that in “Noir & White” is just as scary as saying it out loud! Originally I am from Liverpool but with my love of all things fashion, I made the big move to one of the major fashion capitals cities in the world London to further my interest in this subject. Currently I am at university studying fashion design and marketing which is feeding my knowledge and interest and keeping me on my tip toes in this fast moving world of fashion.

Now that I have given you a brief bit of information about me, lets get back to the main reason for this post. Taking inspiration from the “Three wise monkeys” it gave me the idea of using this subject and creating a blog that would be a place to “speak” about fashion, to “see” fashion and to “hear “ about fashion.

I will be posting as often as I can, showing my work, what I use for inspiration, my outfit choices and things that just generally interest and inspire me, from fashion to art and even photography. This is just away for me to clear my mind and create a space that is dedicated to what I love and just a place where I can be me! Hopefully you will enjoy
